Entry fees and prizes, off the spreadsheet

Set an entry fee, see who's paid, and split the pot however your league agreed — with winners worked out from the live table. Members report their own payments and you confirm them, so the chasing stops.

How does entry fee tracking work?

It runs from both ends, which is what makes it stop being your problem:

  • You set the fee per player and write your own payment instructions — bank details, PayPal, whatever your league already uses.
  • Every member sees those instructions on their league overview, with an optional pay link and their own current status.
  • When someone pays, they tap I've paid and can leave a note with the reference they used.
  • You get a Reported paid flag with their note, and confirm it in one tap. The collected total updates as you go.

You can also just set someone to paid or unpaid directly — the reporting flow is there to save you time, not to stand in your way.

Do you handle our league's money?

No. Not a penny of your entry fees passes through the app, and no cut is taken. Members pay you directly, exactly as they do now. All the app does is keep the ledger so you can see who has settled up and who hasn't.

This is a deliberate choice. Nobody is holding your league's cash, there is no payment processor to fall out with in April, and the pot stays entirely between you and your managers.

How do prize splits work?

You build a prize pool and allocate it by percentage. It comes seeded with a sensible default — 50% to the winner, 25% second, 15% third, then 6% and 4% — and you change any of it.

  • Add your own prizes: monthly high score, wooden spoon, best cup run — anything your league runs
  • Pick your currency ($, £, €, ¥, ₹)
  • Let the pool derive from entry fee × number of players, or override it with a fixed total
  • Live validation against 100%, so you can see at a glance if the split is over or under

Placement prizes resolve their own winners from the live standings, and single-gameweek high-score prizes are computed across the season. For anything the app can't work out on its own, you assign the winner from a dropdown of your members.

Can the league see the prize pool?

Only if you want them to. There's a Show on overview toggle — turn it on and everyone sees the pot, each prize, its share and who's currently winning it. Turn it off while you're still arguing about the split.

Announcements work alongside it: pin a message and it appears at the top of every member's overview, so "fees due before GW1" doesn't get lost forty messages up the group chat.

Who gets access to the admin tools?

Whoever created the mini-league in FPL. That's read straight from FPL, so there is nothing to set up and no invites to send.

Because Manager IDs are public, there's one extra step before the payment controls unlock: you paste a one-time code into your FPL team name and hit verify, which proves the team is actually yours. It takes about a minute and lasts the season. The admin tools are part of the season pass; everything the rest of your league uses is free.

Get the fees in before GW1

Fees, prizes and announcements all work before the season starts — you don't have to wait for a ball to be kicked.
